Presentation of the exhibition by Sanela Jahić Tempo, Tempo in the Ravne Gallery. The artist explores the relationship between man and machine and re-establishes the relationship between documentary and artistic video. With the video installation Tempo, tempo she looks back to the past, to the beginnings of industrialization and automation of production, all with the aim of increasing work efficiency and thus added value per employee. With such an archaeological approach, she shows the viewer the starting points and reasons for the state of today's society. In the sculpture The Tension-Making Mechanism, she depicts the friction between different economic doctrines as the friction between the pages of Capital Karl Marx’s books and The Death of the Liberal Class by Chris Hedges, so strong that four pulling with a force of 120 kg cannot overcome it.
