Multimedia artist Nejc Trampuž (1993, Ljubljana) studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana (ALUO), where he graduated with honors (Summa Cum Laude) for his thesis titled Abstraction in Photography in 2016. He continued his studies at ALUO and in 2019 received the ALUO Award for Exceptional Master's Thesis titled Error as a Transformative Method. In 2018, he spent a semester at the VŠVU Academy in Bratislava as part of an exchange program. Trampuž has exhibited at dozens of exhibitions in Slovenian and international space, operates at the intersection of investigative multimedia art, technology, and environmental activism. He often uses the expressive means of digital and animated audiovisual collages, which he incorporates into works characterized by a saturated aesthetic. In recent years, he has paid particular attention to environmental and climate issues. He communicates his concern for the environment through projects that move between different contemporary media, approaches, and technologies (artificial intelligence, automation, interactivity, internet, glitch, photography, video, sound, projection, light, etc.).
