Boštjan Kavčič was born in 1973 in Šempeter near Gorica, Slovenija.He graduated in sculpture in 2003 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana(prof. Lujo Vodopivec) and finished postgraduate studies of video and new media at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana (prof. Srečo Dragan). Since 2007 he is freelance artist. In his work he connects social sculpture and new media.
